HOW TO READ THE COMPOSITION ON LABELS OF PMU PIGMENTS?

You can read the composition of the PMU pigment on the label - here you can see the components of the liquid base, as well as numbers with the CI prefix. This is the Color Index - a system for designating pigments. All indexes starting with 77 are mineral pigments, except thenumber 77266 - this is the carbon black number, which can be either mineral or organic. All other CI codes that do not start with 77, but with any other number, mean organic ingredients. In PODIUM PIGMENTS, the full composition is indicated, and the color indexes are arranged in order of decreasing concentration in the bottle, which is convenient for reading.

In most PODIUM pigments, carbon black is not present. The purpose of carbon black (soot, coal) is to stay in the skin for a long time, which is why it is used in tattoo pigments, and they need to be worked in very lightly and airily. Black and brown eyelid pigments contain carbon black. Carbon-containing pigments are not suitable for beginners.

Hybrid pigments contain both mineral (or inorganic) and organic components. If you have an organic base and in the pigment composition you see one index that starts with 77 (we don’t take carbon black 77266 into account) - you have a hybrid pigment on an organic base .

If you have a mineral base and at least one organic component , ingredient which does not start WITH 77 - you have a hybrid pigment on a mineral base.

Organic hybrids have brighter shades, while mineral ones are more natural and more durable. You can see the difference IN composition and texture.

In the hybrid line of PODIUM (synthesis pigments*), both organic and mineral pigments are present, but the mineral pigment predominates, which provides a soft exit from the skin and prevents color inversion over time. The residue when working with such pigments is 50-70%.
*The term synthesis was introduced into the permanent makeup industry by the manufacturer of innovative PODIUM Pigments. The term synthesis meansthe optimal formula of ingredients that provides easy implantation, good color retention and a predictable color of the healed work.

Mineral pigments are pure minerals, and due to their fine dispersion, these pigments apply better and faster than market analogs. The pigments gently lighten over time without changing hue. The residue when working with them is 40-60%.
